With a unique background in addiction, psychiatry, trauma, and film, Dr. Altobelli is a respected consultant on behavioral health topics.
She believes strongly in the mind body spirit connection and has tailored her practice to treat clients with a holistic approach. In conjunction with the standard psychopharmacology and talk therapy, she integrates alternative modalities as part of the healing process. She encourages clients to embrace compassion and forgiveness as well as the simple and practical aspects of life—friends, shopping, cooking, nature, laughter, etc. Her goal is to empower clients to utilize these tools to deal with the stressors we encounter and create a life filled with joy.
Dr. Altobelli knows that engaging in a therapeutic relationship can be a delicate and difficult process and does her best to honor that.
